BEANS FOGATH



ingredients

    300 gmsfals beans (french beans)-finely sliced
    2 tbsps oil
    ½  tsp mustard seeds
    2 green chillies chopped fine
    6-8 curry leaves washed
    1 large pyaaz (onion)- finely chopped
    4 tbspsnariyal (coconut)- fresh grated
    Salt to taste

preparation method

Heat the oil in a shallow pan and add mustard seeds and red chilli. When they splutter add the curry leaves and green chillies and sauté a little.
Now add the onion and fry till it turns soft.
Add the green beans, salt to taste and cook till they are done.
Add the grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another minute and then turn off the flame.
Garnish with chopped coriander (optional)

    serve hot
